Are you happy? William Brown takes it upon himself to find out, in a series of vox pop interviews that challenge everyday people outside of tube stations along the famous Circle Line to answer the question as genuinely as they can. Drawing inspiration from Jean Rouch and Edgar Morin’s classic documentary, Chronicle of a Summer (1961) and charting the months surrounding the 2015 General Election, Circle/Line is a rigorous snapshot of a city that delivers an engrossing account of contemporary Londoners, ponders the city’s past and future, and celebrates the truly diverse nature of our capital.
