The Bromley Boys
Dave (Brenock O’Connor) has growing pains. He’s an awkward, gawky teenager that doesn’t fit in anywhere. Except in the company of the hapless & hopeless, local football team – Bromley FC. Set on the cusp of the 1970’s, the film captures the lengths to which a devoted fan will go to save his beloved football club, and the difficulties thrown up when your first love turns out to be the irascible club chairman’s daughter. With some original comic touches and great cartoonish turns from Jamie Foreman (Layer Cake), Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek) and Martine McCutcheon (Love Actually), Bromley Boys is a laugh-out-loud heart-felt comedy to warm the cockles.
