AQNB presents: A wandering camera-body, filming other bodies in motion
Running time: 95′
East End welcomes the fantastic AQNB to take over the Rio Cinema’s new basement screen and present an incredible showcase of work from AQNB associated artists.
Online magazine AQNB.com will present an introduction to experimental video developing at the intersection of contemporary art and digital culture.
The event will bring together a network of artists AQNB has followed and supported over the years to explore the medium of video as a wandering camera-body in relation to politics, identity, gender and digital space.
From the use of multi-camera perspectives and filmic fragmentation, to linear narratives, vlogging and the language of portraiture, the screening will move between forms to explore the various frequencies of contemporary video art and its relationship to resistance.
