Dawn, during the spring and summer months, brings something incredible to our cities – emptiness. Even in Istanbul, home to over 14 million people, 4am on a May morning finds you wandering through empty streets. In keeping with our Turkish theme for 2016, we’re delighted to be partnering with Spitalfields Estate to host an exhibition of inspiring and celebratory images of Istanbul at dawn by renowned photographer Anthony Epes. Anthony Epes is a Californian photographer based in London. He is currently photographing some of the world’s most beautiful and interesting cities for his book series on Cities at Dawn.
