Digital Media, Web and Marketing Assistant

The East End Film Festival seeks a motivated intern to join its young, skilled and fast-growing team. The position would suit an individual with passion and enthusiasm for film and the arts, looking to gain experience in digital media, web and marketing. The role requires a confident, personable, diplomatic and energetic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to take the initiative; to work closely with the Festival marketing team to manage the festival online profile.


Key responsibilities of the role:

  1. Help to create an up-to-date dynamic, Festival Marketing Strategy
  2. Update and maintain the Festival WordPress website
  3. Establish new marketing agreements and maintain existing media partnerships
  4. Work across all EEFF and partner social media platforms
  5. Work closely with management and Comms team to maximize Festival outreach

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

  1. Excellent language skills with great attention to detail
  2. Confidence in Photoshop, Web design and WordPress usage desired
  3. Energetic, self-motivated and proactive
  4. Task oriented and calm under pressure
  5. High-level of internet competence and social media engagement

Duration of internship: flexible (two to four months, one to three times a week)

Starting: immediately

Location: EEFF is based at the UEL Docklands Campus (E16 2RD)

Travel expenses paid, and lunch provided
